Calling all Triangle Area Artists
We invite all Triangle-based artists to showcase their talents at the 3rd Annual Art Exhibition hosted by the Leela Foundation. The exhibition will run from Friday, August 28, 2026, until Sunday, September 27, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY:
Original works created within the last 3 years.
Not previously displayed in Leela Foundation exhibition.
Two-dimensional art only.
Ensure no copyright infringements.
THEME: “I Have A Dream”:
ARTWORK SIZE:
Maximum size for all artwork is 14” x 14” (including frame).
SUBMISSION DEADLINE:
E-submission by TBD
ENTRY FEES:
Non-refundable entry fee: $10 per entry.
Up to three images per artist.
TWO-DIMENSIONAL ART & FRAMING:
Paper Works: Must be framed with clean, unscratched, and intact glass or Plexiglas.
Canvas Works: Must be framed or have gallery-wrapped, finished edges with no visible staples.
Frames: Must be in good condition, free of scratches and loose corners.
Mats: Must be clean and smoothly cut.
Hanging: Must have a firmly attached hanging wire with screw-eyes or D-rings, not exceeding the top of the frame. Saw tooth hangers are not accepted.
REVIEW AND INCLUSION:
All entries reviewed for theme adherence and artwork condition.
Inclusion is at the sole discretion of the Selection Team.
Number of pieces selected depends on space and artwork quality.
Submissions deemed inappropriate or offensive will be rejected.
RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT:
Leela Foundation is not responsible for any loss or damage to submitted artwork.
HOW TO APPLY:
Complete the application form available here and upload the following materials as one zipped file:
Images of Work: Up to 3 images, each approximately 900 pixels (longest dimension) and no larger than 600 KB. Submit each as a separate .jpg file.
Image List: Separate .docx or .pdf file including file name, media, caption, and dimensions.
