Akbar-Birbal Theater Performance - Fall 2025

Leela Foundation proudly presents its first youth theater production: The Tales of Akbar and Birbal, an interactive English play inspired by classic Indian folklore. Designed for ages 8–15, this initiative offers a theater-residency experience in partnership with 4 Dimensions Entertainment (4DE), blending acting workshops with lessons in stagecraft and cultural literacy. Through humor and wisdom, the play highlights the wit of Akbar and Birbal while exploring themes of empathy, logic, and justice. This marks Leela’s bold step into youth-centered live performance, deepening its commitment to arts education and cultural storytelling.
